Leopardluxe's recent beetle post, and the popularity of a recent cat print shirt has got me pondering the idea of a signature motif.
When much, much younger (teen) I liked pig motifs, in my 30's I developed a love of a tree motif. Recently I've been drawn to the bicycle motif, and bought my first T with bicycles on it. Eldest DS has adopted the giraffe motif (started with his first stuffed animal, and now on several T-shirts.) Youngest DS has adopted the bear as his motif. My mother gravitates towards anything with a swan on it.
