Your opinions on these sneakers, please!

I have been scarce on the forum lately due to an extremely busy schedule both at work and home. But I have been lurking on the forum in my down time. I should have more time by the end of next week after my final exam. I have my eye on these sneaks from Aldo for some time and they are on sale now. What do you guys think? I think they are really cute and remind me of converse high tops. They look a bit heavier though.

They remind me of Angie's sneaker standins for white booties except not as refined. From what I remember of your style, they could be great for spring/summer.

Angie, you are right. I would prefer a wedged sneaker but so far all the wedged sneakers I have looked at are too heavy and casual.
One of the style resolutions for me this year was to increase the dressy element of my wardrobe, so i am more drawn to the refined version of sassy sneakers.
I need to be more patient, I guess. PPP.....

I think you and I are looking for the same sneaker, Mona! It's not easy to find. I saw a lot of snazzy sneakers in London and only the most expensive ones fit the bill. I wasn't willing to shell out that money while the temperatures were freezing cold. My imagination couldn't stretch that far. And I honestly don't know how often I will wear them, so I hesitate anyway.

At Shoeme they have Angie's sneakers except in grey. Would that work? I am considering these.

I really like them! The white ones are great for Summer, but I'm not sure they classify as refined.

Suz, I have looked at these and would have gotten them if they were available in white. Grey just wouldn't go with my wardrobe.
