I actually like the wee pop of green of the embroidery. I really like the jacket.

It would be so much better without it. Striped jackets are really in right now and there are lots to choose from I think.

OK, I was totally expecting something with the giant Juicy logo like on the sweatpants, so I have to say this is not bad at all! I think it's quite cute actually, and the logo does not bother me.

I know there are so many out there right now but the details on this one are pulling at my heartstrings, like the tipping, the little peplum in the back, the puff sleeves and the fact that it is cropped. I don't like the fact that it is terry though... hmmm will have to consider this one. It looks like it is sold out online in my size but we have store in town.

Unless I planned on sporting a pin or something over it; I wouldn't go for this jacket.

I see what you mean...I would prefer it not to be there myself, but it's not too bad, really (not like an obnoxious Coach bag, for example). And apart from the logo, it's probably the nicest horizontally striped jacket I've seen (I've seen Banana Republic and other versions). I think it's tolerable and the jacket is very nice in terms of cut and striping--the striping has narrower blue than white stripes, which makes it stand out and the effect is mod and sharp.

I'd like it better without the emblem, especially in that bright green because my eye goes right to it. However, I have a poisoned eye toward such things. If it doesn't bother you, go for it. It's a sweet jacket with other lovely details as you say.

I just reread your comment, Rita. I'm a little confused, with a side of brain fog--terry? As in terrycloth, which towels are made of? It's a good thing that you would be checking this out in person. It's hard for me to imagine how that would work. It's really a fab jacket otherwise, but that's kind of odd.

Mochi, it is a $200 sweat jacket. I think that is giving me pause more than the embroidery. If it was a tropical wool or other suiting fabric, it would have more longevity. For this price, I want it to last more than a few wears!

I love the style and design. French terry is super stretchy. I think the fabrication may give it more of a casual feel than the design warrants. French terry is a lovely fabric and I think it would be really practical for motg summer. The price may be a little daunting for that fabric and I've never seen a blazer made from french terry. I do think it would be super comfortable and practical though, not sure about durability.
