your opinion on boots, please

After finding this site 10 days ago, I quickly realize how incredibly boring my shoe wardrobe is. Out of 25 non-utility shoes/boots, only two pairs are not dark brown or black ( one of the two is tan and grey snakeskin )

So I bought the following boots to remedy the problem, please tell me how you feel about them ( I am having the heels lowered if you think I should keep them ) :

Isabel, they look like great boots for bootcuts but may not work with dresses and skirts.

Great boots but i echo Julie they would only be suitable with trousers. They won't work with dresses and skirts x

Edit- For use with skirts and dresses i prefer something with a bit of detail at the top like the folded over ones here http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/30.....0&P=4
Or these cowboy esque ankle boots. Other YLFers have successfully work these with dresses and skirts

I like those blocks of colour! I have some brown ones in a similar style, they go fantastically well with bootcut jeans.

I don't think that I am yet at the point of wearing short boots with skirts - but I LOVED Louise's suggestions. The Doodle boots are fantastic !

Great that you are feeling more adventurous Isabel!-) I agree with the other lasses, these ankle boots will look lovely with bootcut jeans/pants, trouser jeans too I think.

A brighter coloured boot is so much fun in Winter, dreary days tend to be just a little brighter then;-)

I'm not used to seeing a shoe with that patchwork/colorblocking design. It feels retro to me. So I agree with the others to wear it with pants. Definitely will be a new colorful shoe look for you. Congrats on venturing out of your norm!
