Your opinion of these shoes?

Curse you, in-flight wifi! I should be working!!!
Just found these on Nordstroms and feel like I could seriously obsess about them. I adore t-straps, and I am all over the menswear vibe.
Am I crazy?

Those are a great find! I like the lower heel and grey/ white combo, and that they are closed toe.

I'm not sure about the style- I've bought shoes along those lines before and they seemed sort of "neither here nor there" as far as what to wear them with. I do love the colors, though.

I want to love them . . . I guess if you cannot wear opened toed shoes in the summer, they would be lovely. Or if for any other reason you wouldn't want to shoe toes.

Otherwise, I would opt for a t-strap sandal. But, you know, I love sandals

I am seeing a lot of d'orsay-type shoes in the marketplace as we come into spring - this is similar to d'orsay in the way that the front of the shoe and the back are separate (except for the bottom of the shoe of course). It's not a look I like that much but if you do then I think it's interesting.

Well, okay, so not a whole lotta love out there (although Laura that may be the nicest letdown ever!). I still may order them to give them a try. Part of me really likes that they are not dainty, but I know that may be exactly what others have difficulty with.

That's funny-I was just about to start searching Nordies for something along that line ,but with lower heel--I love those. To me they have a sort of vintage look, and would work with a lot of things.

Okay I am lusting after them or something similar. I might have envisioned a slightly less blocky heel, but then I need me some blocky. And I think Nordie's showed a blocky sandal today. It does use the term vintage so that might tell you something about my fashion-forwardness.
I need closed toes and so slingbacks or such are the way to get some summer vibe in. Basically I want to wear sheer hose.
These are a perfect color combo and I might give them a whirl.....

My problem would be, if they are not a tight fit with the straps, they will go cloppy-cloppy on me.

I think they are fabulous and perfect for your style. I see them with a mod shift dress for summer.

My sole worry (ha ha) is that they might feel heavy and clompy (depending on weight and the shoe's flexibility) and also, I have some weird sense that that toe might "bump" oddly. I don't know why I think that. It might be due to peculiarities of my own foot (super narrow heels and high arches) and previous experience in childhood with similar styles -- I honestly don't know.

Totally worth a try, I'd say.

Kind of the same vibe but not with the same heel effect, a bit 20s flapper goes to church.

I feel like my earlier comment was too general or something - upon reflection I can see those working for your style, or at least what I've seen of it, which is minimalist in colors but a little masculine in silhouette which makes the girlie shoes rather nice.

I'm with karymk. That was my first thought too! Wider leg pants call for a shoe just like this. I am not sure I'd wear these with a dress... unless it was a maxi or midi length. Then again maybe I've got 90's fashions on my brain. What goes around comes around? But that time around, the shoes were black and more black, so I love that these shoes are not.

I hope you go for it and report back. If they are comfy I may give them a whirl too...

To be completely honest, I'm not crazy about them. The white toe bothers me for some reason, it seems so random, and it would get scuffed quickly and look dirty... I'm not big on the gray either, or the fact that its a mesh upper...breathable, yes, but... something about these shoes is like a nurse at a wedding... I can't imagine them looking good with jeans... in fact I'm not sure what they would look good with. But hey, we all have different styles and tastes, just giving my two cents since ya asked!
