After such a great thread on our dream sandals started by Patience, I thought we can play a similar game about bags:

You just won the lottery, so money is no object. Also, all your back problems are miraculously resolved, and you can carry any bag for as long as you want without any discomfort. And, finally, you don't have any bulky items you absolutely must carry every day - no laptops, no files, no baby gear, no lunch - nothing unless you choose to. So you can pack your keys, driving license and lipstick, or, alternatively, the kitchen sink.

After you imagine all that, what is your dream bag? Conditions: it must be available now (and please provide a link), and it must be an everyday bag, not an evening bag. If you actually own your dream bag, please post a photo.

I actually own my dream bag! Mine is by Gerard Darel, a French company. If you go to their website http://www.gerarddarel.com/ (which I liked much better when Charlotte Ginsbourg was in the ad), mine is in the Saint-Germain category, the first one - "24 hours". (the color is more accurate in the first photo, and it also has a light purplish tint). I usually wear it on my shoulder, except when I am wearing a winter coat, because the straps are not long enough to fit over a coat sleeve. But since our winter-coat-worthy weather is hardly several weeks a year, this is not really an issue.
Another bag in the dream category would be also from Gerard Darel company - their Midday-Midnight bag, both in the "24 hours" and in the "36 hours" sizes. Maybe one day ...
