Your favorite tee?

I'm looking for some nice quality v-neck t-shirts. They are surprisingly difficult to find! I do not care for Old Navy tees. I usually buy Gap, but their v necks are cut quite low for some reason, and I'd like not to HAVE to wear a cami underneath. A lot of the ones I've tried are too thin, clingy. Anyone have brands that they particularly like?

My favorite ones are at Landsend. Now, before you scoff too loudly, hear me out. Many of their tees are not what I'm interested in, but they have one that's great. It's a cotton/modal/spandex mix that is fitted with a nice scoop neck. I have 3 colors and love them for layering. The neck is nicely finished and doesn't feel like an athletic tee to me.

Thanks, Brenda. I may try one of those, although several of the reviews say the fabric is quite thin. Did you find this to be the case?

I have a Three Dots, on Denise's suggestion, and it is definitely thick enough, but runs quite small. I have to use mine as a layer piece only since it's too tight. (I bought it on eBay with no return)

It's thin, but it's not too thin for me to feel comfy wearing them by themselves. I think "thin" is relative and subjective.

I'm a fan of the JCrew Perfect-fit V-neck tee (http://www.jcrew.com/womens_ca...../97784.jsp) because the sleeves aren't remotely cap sleeve length. With my shoulders, some short sleeved tees end up looking like cap sleeves on me

I agree with the JCREW choice as there are always a bunch of choices on cut, style, colour and fabric. I find this is like a perfect storm for a tee!

Thanks - I think I will give the J Crew a try! I also have broad shoulders so I know what you mean about the cap sleeves problem.
