Your favorite "12 hr" summer sandal?

Recent threads about sport/gear sandals and other alternatives caused me to wonder what everyone likes for a sandal that is good for travel, walking, getting around for summer activities?
Does it meet the all day challenge for you?

I have MeToo Gladiators from a few seasons back that were my 12 hr wear sandal - have not tried them out recently though I hope they still work.

target gladiator sandals with "jewelz". i think i wore them out after 4years of nonstop wear. must replace...

I have 3 pairs that have been wonderful. My tevas, chaco flipflops and my brown Timberlands have made it though several summers with me. I'm worried what will happen when they finally give up the ghost.

For non-gear sandals, I really love Jambu. I have two pairs that I can wear all day with no problems. My favorite are the espys because it gets so hot here and they are like barely wearing shoes.

I also have another older model that I can't find any more. In my experience anything Jambu with a heel under 3 inches is good.

For gear type shoes, I love Keens. I have H2s and an older model that is more strappy where less of your foot is covered. I couldn't find them online, but most of the keens I have tried have been great.

For me, for 12hr sandals it's important that I can easily clean the insides. With it over 100 degrees here most of the summer, there's going to be foot sweat. I can't do anything with suede liners or anything else that would get yucky.

Abie, have you tried Aldo 'Suds' ? Works like magic on footbeds!!! Its cheap, too:) About $6 for a small bottle that lasts a long, long time....as far as sadals, SAS has one of the most comfortable lines of both shoes and sandals Ive ever tried- these are most similar to mine...almost all of their shoes/sandals come in a wide variety of widths also....http://sasshoes.com/main/view_.....;prodid=85

My 12-hour sandals are Ecco Groove Gladiators from a few years ago. I have them in black and in tan; they are still going strong after 3-4 summers of heavy wear.

I have several pairs of Clark sandals which feel great! I also love a pair of Borns I own and a pair of Nurture sandals.

My 12 hour sandals are from Naturalizer. I bought mine last summer so they aren't available anymore, but these are similar though mine are nude:

For leg lengthening dressy sandals with heels, I love my Neima by Softspots in snake. The footbed is very soft and conforming, and it comes in many widths and does not irritate my bunions. I had to size down in length, so I sized up in width (to DD); not a problem with Zappos.

Spring Step Abigails also work for me as platform wedge in a leg lengthening style. They only come in a medium width, and reviews complain that they run wide -- which works very well for me. I found them online at Zappos and maybe Endless.com.

I think my Clark's Gladiators (very small wedge heel) shown below qualify. They are cork and a little cushy.
I have older Cole Haan black wedge slides, but not very fashionable anymore. Kind of like these

I've had luck with J21, Borns (B.O.C. as well) and Eccos (although I don't fit them all the time)

My Softsopts Trinidads are the only flats that don't make me crazy after a couple of hours. No flats are 12-hour for me, but those are the best.

My Worishofers are my second favorite. Technically orthopedic, but they have some really cute styles. Mine are perforated lace ups and actually pretty edgy feeling.

I have two pairs that fit the bill right now, one pair is still at DSW

1. Naturalizer, from DSW. Love the mixed metallic, the rubber, natural colored sole, the cushioned footbed and the secure "cradling" of the foot. The straps are soft enough that they don't cut into my foot. There isn't any arch support.

2. Skechers, last year, from Kohls. These are a wedge with a platform, almost a flatform. The thick rubber isn't dainty, but it matches the upper and is like walking a rubber mat. I coudn't find these anymore online.
