Bijou: it’s a little hard to see your dress photo but from what I can tell it’s tartan or similar pattern, right? So here is a striped fascinator for some pattern mixing!

If you get tired of the life of a scientist you could surely go work for the royal family in London. Prince Andrew's daughters could definitely use your fascinator styling expertise.
Fantastic, Diana! Your suggestions for me are spot on. In fact, Daisy Buchanan's silver & pearl headpiece and lilac stole would be perfect for ANY gown I could dream of! There's even an adorable 1920-30s vibe, which I enjoy. Thank you very much! I will save this as a favourite, for future inspiration.
Those are great, Diana! They would be fab with those gowns, the first one blends in really well and the second adds a fun touch. If I ever need to wear a fascinator I will ask you for suggestions for sure I am glad I participated. Now I am off to read in more detail about everyone else’s gowns and fascinators.
Diana, this is *such* a sweet and wonderful holiday gift to the forum! And what an incredible gift you have for picking them! I didn't have time to shop, so I just pulled this old Ralph Lauren out of my Finds and on reflection, I think it will do me very well. But it does need a little something. The top part is sequinned and with this neckline I would typically wear a statement earring. I don't know how a fascinator will mesh with that, and my short hair -- but I am sure you will have ideas!
Suz: I think this silver butterfly piece by Emma Yeo (look up her headwear designs! They're amazing!) would work perfectly with your hair and earrings. I like that it's a juxtaposition of a 20's style with the modern laser cut material.

Wow, Diana -- that is amazing!! How I wish I could wear this in real life! Thank you so much! You are the fascinator woman extraordinaire!! Off to peruse her designs.
Christina: that gorgeous red dress definitely needs some dramatic scarlet blooms. I couldn't decide so you get a bonus one. The second is felted wool so may not be quite as dressy but I love the softer quality of the fabric with the rose shape.

Gah, they're both killer. If only I didn't have to travel up to almost the moment the ball I attend every year starts, I'd look for something like that to wear. As it is, all I can do with my head is get a blowout the day before and hope for the best.
Thank you, Diana! The fascinator you picked for my dress is so right and I love it. I'll echo Suz and say that this is a wonderful gift to the forum. Every
fascinator you have picked is so spot on and beautiful.
