How do you ladies store your bras? I have about 20. I read somewhere that it's better to hang them, so for a couple of years I hung them on a belt/tie hanger, that didn't work so great. So now I. Have a dedicated bra drawer.
The lined t-shirt ones seem to be puckering/wrinkling in the cups. What do you think it is the best storage method?

I just fold them on half in my drawer. One cup in the other. Never noticed any problems.

I hang them on a hook on the back of the bathroom door. I've heard that cup in cup is not good (not sure why) so the ones not in regular rotation on the bathroom door are stored stacked in lingerie drawer.

I throw them all into a big carboard box. No problems

I use these IKEA SKUBB drawer storage boxes for my bras, undies, socks, and other smallish items. My bras are fairly pricey so I'm careful about laundering and storing them to maximize their longevity.

I think the advice not to store cup inside cup pertains to molded bras. I'm currently down to only two molded bras since I much prefer a seamed, underwire bra which is fine stored cup into cup in an upright position with the wire at the bottom. (That is how the bra boutique stores all of its stock.) I usually tuck the matching undies into the cup so everything gets stored as a set. Extra undies are stored in one of the smaller boxes.

I think the puckering and wrinkling on molded bras is more a laundering issue with the foam. Years ago I tried one of those expensive, Oprah-recommended, Dream Tisha Le Mystere bras which become horribly dimpled after only a few washings. The poor fit and puckering turned me off molded bras.

I only have a 6 bras of which 4 are in regular rotation. They are the molded cup type so I just line them up one in the next and place on about a 45 degree angle in the drawer. I have had good luck with no dimpling of the foam liner in a years worth of use. I also agree the some brands the foam is much less prone to wrinkling than others.

I have 4 bras other than workout ones. I store both kinds like Gaylene in those Ikea boxes, except I keep my undies in one box and bras next to them in another box inside a drawer. Seems to work okay.

Handwash (handwash cycle in the washing machine), hang to dry in the laundry room. Once dry, they get stacked on top of each other (not folded in half) in my top dresser drawer. No problems with wrinkling or other issues.

I have 6 bras counting a couple of strapless. They are stored in a dresser drawer one on top of another in a stack, not folded. I have nude in one stack and black in another. There are no problems. Bras that I'll wear again before washing (by hand) get hung on a hook inside the closet.

I fold them in half (between the cups) and line them up vertically in a basket. I have pretty limited storage space (small city apartment) so they all fit inside a little (maybe 5"x10"?) basket. There's probably about 10 bras in there although a couple don't get worn often.

I do have one molded cup bra though (all the rest are seamed and unpadded) and I'm never sure what to do with that one. I usually just gently fold it with one cup inside the other and set it on top of the others so it's not squished.

Wow Gaylene, I use the Ikea sorting boxes as well for socks and undies.

I do not put bras in them as I have been trying not to fold them. I have a "wardrobe" of about 10 total which I find sufficient and I lay them in a drawer nestled one inside the other by colour.

Handwash cycle in euro washing machine and hang to dry and I luckily haven't have any issues. I do have moulded styles and this happens eventually but shocked to hear the Mystere went after a few washings. Good to know.

I fold my foamy ones in half and store them loosely in a drawer. When I travel, I always use a pair of thick wool socks rolled into a ball so they don't get smooshed.

I keep mine hanging on hooks in my closet - no problems!

Hee hee Marley - you should see my reaction when my BF brought me a shirt to work tonight and I saw the misspaced hangers when I got home . . . um, OCD maybe ???

Same as Mo. I believe folding molded bras in half contributes to the wrinkling, so I stand mine up. If you want wrinkle-free cups, try memory foam bras. They cost more, but are worth it if you dislike wrinkling like I do. I have a Simone Perele that is years old; I even wash it in the machine (gentle, cold, hang to dry). It is still unwrinkled. I wish I could memory foam my face.

Haha, Claire, you and I are on the same page. I hang a couple of mine on my closet doorknob, too. Mind you I only have five bras. The other three are hanging on the coat hooks just inside my closet. And since I prefer underwire bras without molded foam cups, I don't have problems with the cups wrinkling.

I am going to have to go to Ikea and get some of those boxes and until I get them I am going to try to make the drawer like Mo's drawer. I guess I should actually get rid of some too.

I store mine in a similar way to Mo.
And now I'm chuckling at Claire's hanging on the door knob and Denise memory foaming her face, can I join in too !!
