...and other fall shopping news
I really needed ( i.e. wanted) black leather sneakers and the love for ECCO on here made me disregard the little voice inside of me that said "you're buying $150 non-technical sneakers? you crazy." I ordered them from Zappos and when I took them out of the box I was pretty sure they'd be too narrow. They were not. And suddenly I realized why they were worth all that money...magical sneakers that make your feet look *smaller* than they really are! All kidding aside, I walked over 20,000 steps the first day I wore them and other than some minor rubbing, they were super comfortable. And I think they look nice.
I also bought the Frye booties I mentioned in amother thread that I'd been lusting over for more than a year. I was glad I went to the Frye store to try them on because I had to size down to a 6.5, which happens hardly ever. And, not pictured, I bought some deeply discounted UGG boots mainly to wear in the house this winter.
I also bought a couple of (what I thought were) non-basic tops. The one with the leopard print collar is from Garnet Hill and the shirt with the London print on it is from Boden. Finally, I bought a pair of what are called jeggings but are really straight leg ponte pants from Athleta. The color, which may not have photographed well, is "wild raisin." It's a color I like but which I can't wear near my face.
Thanks for looking!
