You're not gonna recognise me!!!!

I went to have my hair cut and coloured today (never had it coloured before). The lady who usually waxes my legs offered to do my make up if she could photograph it for the website she's setting up. Here are the results- bear in mind it's heavy makeup not at all what i usually wear!! x

Sometimes it's fun to try different looks, but yeah, the makeup doesn't seem like your style. I like the eyes some, but the lips are wow-pow.

Phew finally got the makeup off i could have done with a pressure washer!!!!
My old hairdresser left and the new girl is a great colourist so i thought i can't enter my 30's with grey bits so decided to get it coloured. She put a semi permenant colour which is pretty much my natural shade and then put red bits through it using foils.
Julie i'm not naturally reddish but i did have coppery streaks when the sun shone on it. I didn't feel strange when i had it done, i can go from long to short hair without any bother so this was no prob.

Wow, Louise! I absolutely LOVE the shine and gloss and colour of your hair. My favourite photo would have to be the last photo of the three.

You have such beautiful eyes, do you "play them up" a lot with your makeup?

Welcome to the 30's club by the way! It was a tad daunting for me at first, but now I wouldn't go back to my 20's if you could pay me. (I've had a lot more practice at being in this club than you though... shhhhhhh )

Purplequeen you're so right i am lucky, i've just realised i took one hellava risk having my hair cut and coloured by a new stylist on her first day at the salon!!!!

Katiepea- i never wear makeup apart from special occassions though i really should wear it more because i do look better with a bit on. I don't usually play up my eyes they are quite heavily hooded but from the sounds of it i am underappreciating them

Maya- definately not a day look not even sure i fancy it too much for an evening look it was a tad drag queen! x
