Andrea, we have hit that time of year in MD when it is entirely possible to be running the AC one day and then have to switch to heat two days later. Hence my lament that the transitional seasons are too short here. But our winters have not been severe lately — not much snow/ice the last couple of years (I think I had the snow blower and shovel out once last year), so I extend the wear of my fall wardrobe into winter!
Plus, Delaware sometimes tends to be a little warmer than a lot of Maryland because of its proximity to the Bay. Same for Maryland’s eastern shore (although that’s where Suntiger lives, but she likes warmer temps than I do, so I think her 50 feels like my 60, or something! LOL).
