... your daughter walks into the first store she sees and finds the dress of her dreams within five minutes (Ted Baker, saffron colored princess dress+bow belt in black)
... She goes on, finding her perfect t-strap shoes (Clarks, burgundy patent)
... the very first pair of boots you try on has perfect fit, perfect heels and perfect everything (Italian, black leather, dressy, stacked heels).

I know this is much, and we are so fortunate to be able to do this. We've both saved for this trip, and all the items we hoped to find are now checked off our lists. I haven't had dressy black boots in years, so they will be workhorses in my wardrobe for sure. I'm even more exited about my daughter's dress than if it had been for me, because the joy of doing a photo shoot with her in Montmartre this afternoon is more than I can put into words. My daughter was shopping for her school dance which is a very dressy affair, but the dress will be easy to style in many ways, I believe.
