you are at a party and someone comments on a guy's new "spiffy" looking jeans and you catch yourself before you say "turn around, let me see the back" LOL... I don't know if I would have lived that one down. It was a friend, but not THAT good of a friend And his wife might have thought it a bit odd that I wanted to view her hubby's rear side.

ha! I always check out the rear view on both sexes, too! My BF has chicken legs so if he can get jeans that give him somewhat of a hint of a butt, they are winners! hee hee

LOL! I'd have done the same thing.

Malina, my DH also has chicken legs and a butt that's probably smaller than mine. It took forever to convince him that "relaxed" jeans were not meant for him. I finally got him into better fitting jeans and he looks great, although he griped for months that they felt too tight. *eyeroll*

How can you other people buy jeans without checking out your backside? It boggles my mind.

There are just so many weird pocket styles nowadays, and some of them do strange things to the backside. 'Course, the bf noticed this first and brought me over to the dark side.

Haha, before reading about it here, it wouldn't have occurred to me to check the back. It's interesting to hear how many people think it's important.

I might need to start checking mine now to see what other people are noticing!

I'm not a rear side riveter either, abs for me. With females I generally look at the entire silhouette/style and not a particular area or item like shoes.

I simply have appreciation for a nicely fitting pair of jeans. And to me, the jeans have not been properly modeled until the whole 360 degrees have been seen

but seriously, if my brain synapses had been firing just a split second slower, the words would have been out of my mouth before I realized it. All that NAS wine must be keeping me sharp

(My husband is also the one who converted me to a RR but pays less attention to his own pants' rears, though he is just starting to more recently.)
