I think 'cool' or otherwise is in the styling for a garment like this. I could see this pattern appealing to the 'middle aged" crowd here who would wear them with a nice coloured or embellished tshirt top and sensible shoes:) But I have no doubt they could be edged up also.
Ok, I'm older than middle aged and I don't think they're cool. Unless by cool you mean could be worn ironically. By me, ironic is too effortful and therefore not cool.
Totally cool. I could really see these working in a very boho look or styled down with a simple tee and boots or heels. I like the visual interest of the tone on tone pattern and can think of at least a half dozen ways to style these without even giving it much thought (which is always a good sign).
Yay. But they totally remind me of a pair of paisley printed denim jodhpurs I had in high school. Those were cool - I wonder where they are now? I have wanted to try Mother...how do they fit?
On the fence. I'd really need to see them styled. I'm not a fan of printed denim for myself (although I have always wanted bold horizontally striped black and white), but then, I can see myself admiring these in the right outfit on someone else.
