YO: Back into the boot fray

What do we think of these for lighter summer boots? All Fryes, Antelopes, and other attempted boots have gone back, and I am starting a whole new search. Any experiences with this brand?

I had a pair of their Audrey flats and liked them but don't know anything about their boots. I like how these look though!

My first pair of boots were Mia's. http://www.overstock.com/Cloth.....oduct.html They fit like a glove on my skinny 12 1/4 calves! I just donated them this fall because the style was no longer me.

I say try them! Leather, adjustable laces, and my MIAs feel a bit wide on me, so they should be good for your foot. The foldover style is going to add bulk, but if you look at the back view, there is lots of strap real estate available for adding extra holes and cinching tighter if you need to.

This is the same color as the MIA foldover boots I have, btw. The color is probably a bit more of a rich tan in person, but that will likely be closer to a nude on you.

The first Mia boots you linked were ones I saw a lot at Nordstrom Rack. I never actually tried them on, but they did look pretty large from the side view (that big flap).

It was too much for me. (but I battle with calves that look like a body builder, so not a good match).

If you read the reviews, someone commented on lack of comfort and that's what I've noticed whenever I tried Mias on at the Rack.
