I'd run with the country/walking vibe, and do bootcut jeans, and a cable-knit sweater or scarf under an olive green or tan hip-length coat!

Since theyre a bit rugged in feel they call for texture/print. I like the idea of tweed, plaid, cable knits, corderoy, but also prints with a nature motif like leaves or animal print. Colorwise i like pairing burgundy, teal, and forest green with cognac. Or with a winter white out outfit! Probably any sort of coat with texture, a leather/pleather bomber, peacoat, puffer- just not too dressy like brocade or velvet (unless you like the juxtaposition).

You could go full on 90s with a floral skirt, tights and sweater. Or boyfriend jeans & sweater ....great boots

I would wear them with a plaid flannel shirt dress or sweatshirt dress, opaque tights, and wool socks peeking out.

Molly Mac: Thanks! I wouldn’t have thought of plaid flannels or shirtdresses and I actually really like the idea of that look. And I love your idea about the wool socks peeking out too. Feeling excited about colder weather now

I had something similar I loved with denim bootcuts, although it didn’t show off the boots per se the almond toe peeking out looked great. 70s ish peasant blouses on top in cream or earthy tones.

I would seek our a leather bag in a similar color. Then you could wear boots with the bag and pull things together.
