Do you ever have a capsule than never gets full? I just can't seem to be able to walk by a cute summer dress, and no matter how many there are, I can always use one more. I like this one because it's a little longer and more covered up, and it has a lining. What do you think?

Anna and Angie, I have no waist, it's not an illusion. I'd wear it with a belt of some kind. Maybe I'll post some more styling options from home. It's not actually a muu muu irl.

Mo, I totally hear ya on the summer dresses, but I can't wear my old too short or wrinkly ones to work so this is a replacement....always some justification right?!

How does it look without your hand on your waist? Is it loose because of the cut, or because is a tad big?

Not sure due to photo - seems dark, a bit big and not sure what's going on with top of sleeves? Is there a ruffle? If it's a steal and you are in love I can see it working, but I suspect there will be more to tempt you as they break out the sundresses more.

Rita, it's a very pretty dress and the ankle booties actually toughen it up in way I really like. However , having said that, and recalling a previous post about people thing you are younger than you are, this dress is very young and girly to me. I would be asking if this dress communicates what you you want it to about who you are?

It's hard to reform yourself when you look sooooo cute in dresses and THIS is the season to look and see them! I like the booties, too.

I like that dress on you a lot. Pretty pattern and the floatiness of the fabric kind of lightens the effect of having a dark dress.

Dresses are a wardrobe category that never "feels" full to me either. The more the merrier!

Wow, a lot of mixed reviews here. The dress is home with me for some experimentation in better light.

Deborah - I am trying to dress more age appropriately but I feel like flirty summer dresses get a pass on that... it's not something I would wear for a strict formal work day.

Suz & Shannon - I am really not against booties and dresses. I like this look a lot. It's just that when I wore it before people said it was not flattering on me. Then the look gained favor on the forum suddenly after Angie said it was in style. I completely agree! I always loved this edgy combination but I still can't get over the feeling that it's not for me.
