YLF store lament!

Why -oh -why these VC sandals from YLF store have a heel that high? It is not often I come upon a sandal design I love which come in my size but 3 1/2 in. is just too much for me....

Why cannot they be 2 1/2 in. high instead - my heel limit?

They are awfully pretty - but my feet do NOT like peeptoes! I'm definitely on Team Closed Toe. 2 1/2" is the limit of what I'm trying to bring into my closet too, Sveta - my goal is to keep heels in the 1 1/2 - 2 1/2" range when possible, as my feet are happiest in that range.

Kari, this is my best heel range too but they are so difficult to find! Now if you want 4-5" heel there is a lot of options, flats are also not hard to come by but those
low heels are very elusive.
I have 4 pairs of low heel Fidjis to try on this weekend so should not complain...unless nothing fits!

I feel your pain. I tried them on a couple of months ago they were just too high. I wish they would make the same style in a lower heel.

I can wear heels, but 3 1/2 inches did me in too. I'd want them to be "wear with everything heels," but at 3 1/2 inches, they're "wear occasionally" heels. I'm so ready for this trend with super high heels to be over. I saw a well dressed woman today tottering along in high stacked heels. She looked like a man in drag in the bad, but amusing, Monty Python way. It ruined her whole look.

oh boy do I empathize with you all! sara, my bunions did not agree with those lovely Matt Bernson wedges! The straps were so soft... I wished I could have ordered the next size up but they were sold out And I had to return the Lillianas too, boo hoo!

Sveta, I adore those sandals. I am so disappointed for you. Does the wedge heel make any difference to wearing that hight at all? I find I can wear a very high wedge and my feel feel supported and I can wear them for a full day.

Thanks for the sympathy, ladies! I know I am not alone in wishing they make more low heeled shoes for us...
Deborah, 2 1/2 is my absolute limit for comfort: when my foot arched too much I cannot walk too far Also being very tall 2 1/2" heel already makes me a bit over 6' so I don't want anything higher than that.

Nancylee has those shoes and says they are surprisingly comfortable. I would have ordered but you know the border/duties/shipping issues we have. I decided to wait until next summer since I really have enough sandals to get me through this year.

Sveta, Suz is right: I do own these shoes and they are AMAZINGLY comfortable. They don't feel like 3 1/2 inch heels at all!! I never ever wear anything higher than 2 1/2 or 3-inch heels, and that's what it feels like to have these on your feet.

They run true to size and I am so happy I bought them. In fact, I wore them to an event this past Sunday evening. Stood for 2-3 hours and felt fine.

I was spying them, too. I don't wear heels higher than 2.5 inches. They are pretty wonderful to look at, though.
