Hi all

Just a quick update... After everyone who expressed the wish to participate successfully signed up for this year's Secret Santa through Elfster, I was supposed to do the simple thing of hitting the button that will automatically generate random pairs and that would be it. That's how it worked last year - simple, easy, straightforward.

Well, I can't do that. I'm stuck at the step which I don't recognise. And after trying to kick off the pairs' generation I still can't see pairs on the Admin panel

I don't know what you can see on your Elfster pages because as the organiser I see different things. Perhaps you see yet another invite to participate or whatever. If that's the case, I don't see any of us can go through the agony of yet another set of emails, conformations, whatever.

If I don't figure this thing out soon I propose I do the old fashioned paris drawing... write all names on the paper, then draw papers out of the hat.

That's the only thing I can think of right now.

This would mean that once I know who you've drawn that other person will have to get your posting address from me directly (as admin I can see it on your Elfster profile, but nobody else can). This means a few more emails between me and you all, but what's that in the grand scheme of things
