My lovely secret Santa gift arrived today!!! It contained 4 lovely gourmet food items from (well if I say where, it will give it away)!!! All flavoured with birch syrup, which I hadn't even heard of before today.

We couldn't wait to try them, so made pancakes ( the non raised type) for dessert tonight and tried the rhubarb and raspberry syrup with them.

We were so blown away by thinking that we were eating food from so far away!

An unexpected part two to my gift arrived in the mail today! An adorable WORKING clutch necklace How cute is that!?? Thank you so much for the earrings and the necklace, Ms. Santa! Off to read the reveal thread to see who you _really_ are ^^

Sorry so late, but some health issues have slowed me down. Astrid was my SS, & she sent me a gorgeous black & cobalt blue scarf, a cute Vogue day planner, along with a vintage Santa card.

I have been drooling over cobalt blue items for a while, but hadn"t purchased anything, & the planner is the perfect size to throw into my purse. Finally, I collected Santas at one time so the card is perfect for me.

Above all, thank you Astrid, for your concern & kind thoughts. I am getting better each day.
