Today's inspiration is

Waterserpents II, Gustav Klimt, 1907

The picture depicts a group of water nymphs, a common mythological subject. But it is also considered to be a precursor to Klimt's paints, such as The Women Friends, 1917 in which the same-sex relationships are more openly portrayed by the artist. The last time we had this challenge, we had The Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I, a portrait from Klimt's gold period.
