I was so inspired by all your suggestions on my post last week that I had to try one outfit out today! Here’s the Irish wool cable knit sweater, zipped up and tucked in to a pair of leather culottes (all thrifted.) I actually like that the sweater is fitted because I can pair it with wider bottoms. I’m so excited to try all your suggestions!
This month’s SYC has been great for that reason - I have a lot of pieces, so wearing all my clothes and finding new combinations has been very energizing. I find that I tend to shop for the buzz I get when I get something new - but after the first time I wear it, it has worn off. So I’m trying to get the same buzz from wearing things I just haven’t worn in a while.
I did a challenge this month to wear some of my leather jackets and then my scarves, and I really loved pulling my special pieces out. I’m excited to keep SYC going - and to give my closet a break!
