YLF meet up in Berlin?

Next week, I am going to meet lovely forum member Astrid, in Berlin! We are thinking of getting together on Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Are there any other forum members living in or near Berlin who would like to join us for coffee and a gab?

I am so excited, this is the first chance I've had to meet up with another forum member, and I love Astrid's casual, happy style.

Oh thats great! I 'could' come on wednesday but since I will be going to London on thursday I'll have to talk to my financial manager (aka the bank statement printer) first. Will be back tonight and hope I can be more precise then...

Do you already know in which area of Berlin you will be?

We thought to meet in Berlin Mitte, the Museumsinsel, and maybe visit the New Museum together. And maybe go somewhere for a coffee and a chat? But we haven't made the final decision yet, so we are happy about suggestions.

squee, Joha, it would be wonderful if you could make it! Please do speak nicely to the bank manager :).... I have sent a PM to Scarlet, too. I am fairly flexible re days and times, but mornings work better with the family. Astrid is busy on Thursday, as are you.....

Squee, so glad you can make it! Scarlet is unsure as she has another committment on Wed morning......I am sightseeing with visitors today so I won't check in until tonight; please do feel free to flex the arrangements to fit everyone in if need be....I am flexible with time, although mornings work better with the children (as in leaving DH with them :D). So looking forward it....we will be posting pics of rain gear if this weather continues :)....

Yes, that is correct, I could not make it on Wednesday morning Perhaps Tuesday or later in the day Wednesday?

I'm flexible too and could also meet later on Wednesday. I think Joha can only come on Wednesday, so Tuesday isn't possible.

Squee! It happened! Today lovely forum members Scarlet, Joha, Astrid and I met for lunch at an Italian restaurant in Berlin that Astrid recommended. Thanks so much for making the journey into Berlin, girls, it was wonderful to meet you IRL! I have a nice pic from the restuarant; I'll post it when we're back in Copenhagen next week. Lets keep in touch!
