Michelle and I have spoken privately about the current fit of the dress. It's important to remember that this dress is pinned. Nothing is lying flat or sleek at the moment becuse it had not been tailored or sewn yet.

Steph, I hear you on the suggestion of a wider waistband. While intuitively that makes sense, in my experience of dressing women, a wider waistband on a dress like this *can* actually widen the waist. It's a slippery slope. But Michelle, you might like Tania to try that out.

Also, the elbow length sleeve is not lying flat at the moment. It would look a lot better if it did - probably as good as the sleeveless :0)
