Fi, you are headed to NZ for your sisters wedding soon and I know you got your dress for the wedding squared away.. but what about the Bachelorette party and bridal shower?

Here is your challenge should you choose to accept it. First of all I"d love to see what you might wear to one of your sister's bridal showers. Now, you might be older sister Fi, but you still have it working for you and you can be as hip as all those 20 year old bridesmaids Start with a nice classic day wear party outfit but add a twist of edge or funk to it. Could be a studded belt, funky jewelry, daring pattern mixing, a touch of leather..... sky's the limit. Let's see Fi strut her stylish self and show little sis how it's done

and now the real fun begins.... the bachelorette party! What happens at the bachelorette party stays at the bachelorette party right? You are out for a fab fun night on the town and you will pull no stops with what you wear. Okay, keep it clean (we are all respectable ladies here , but show us your best night on the town outfit. and remember.... don't drink and drive

Are you up for this challenge? I can certainly change it up if needed, I just love a good party outfit and since I don't get out much I want to live vicariously through you!

Hi Queenie

Thank you for my challenge - it is really spot on! I am going to miss all of the pre-wedding festivities as due to study commitments we are going to arrive in NZ 24 hours before the wedding, but this way I get to pretend I am in on the fun (and I might convince my husband to take me out in outfit number 2!)

I have some full on study and work commitments due at the end of this week, so if it is OK with everyone can I attempt this in the weekend?

PS - I haven't had time to post recently, but I have been following the challenge chain posts closely, and there are some amazing challenges and responses, I hope that I can do them justice!

OK, week and a half from h*ll over at work and essay handed in and with the husband at Emirates Stadium watching the football, it is time to play dress ups!

You asked me to put together two outfits, one for a bridal shower and one for the hens party. To be honest I really struggled with the bridal shower outfit, I am not sure that funky is really my style...I came up with this outfit - http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/.....directlink which features a banded top (a new item for me), bootcut metallic trousers, peeptoe sandals and my necklace is a piece of jewellery that my sister and brother gave me for Christmas last year - it is a Pohutukawa tree leaf. The Pohutukawa is also known as the NZ Christmas tree as it flowers brilliant red flowers around Christmas time.

I also had another outfit in mind - this is probably more my style, something plainer - http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/.....directlink and something my Grandmother would like.

You are so pretty and you shine in the outfit that you called the more simple outfit. I don't think it's simple at all, it really brings out your style and your smile. I love it. I love to see a person in their style elements and glowing.
I also love the dress with the pleather jacket boots and leggings! You look great.

Thanks San, your opinion means a lot to me. Perhaps simple wasn't the right word to describe it - perhaps more classic? - but it wasn't really what Kim had challenged me to do.

My two favorites are the grandma approved outfit and the pub outfit. Those two showed more personality than the others. Great job!

I love the Grandma outfit, more sexy secretary I think. Your curves look beautiful, in fact I could really see you working some of the outfits Kari posts.

Love your 'grandma would like this" outfit... it is really flattering on you that is why your grandma would like it. The banded top outfit is nice too, but doesn't show off your figure nearly as well.

love both of your going out outfits. What a hot mamma you are love the boots and leggings with the dress, but it also looks nice bare legged. You're ready for a night out on the town!

Queenie - My Nana would be a big fan of the light pink top with ruffles!

The dress is a new one that I have had my eye on at H&M for about 5 months now. Normally they don't bring styles back, but they have done it a few times with this print.

Julie - yep I chopped my hair a couple of months ago. This is the shortest I think I will ever go as I need a bit of length to try and hold the curls in place a little bit. My hair is a nightmare of curls!

Oooh 4 looks from you - yay!! I think I prefer the skirt to trousers for the first variation - shows off your great legs!!! And I love the dress with those boots in the 2nd variation - nice!!
