It was great fun reviewing your posts and congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding. Feel free to pick one, two or all of the challenges below. I hope you have fun and uncover some new gems for your style and preferences while stretching the use of your wardrobe along the way.
Part One-Going Healthy
Challenge-Wedding planning can be very stressful and working out is a good way to burn off stress. Please create an outfit that you use for running/walking, while wearing your fitbit.
Bonus-Remix one piece of your workout outfit, into a running around for weekend errands outfit.
Reflection-What would you need to change with your workout capsule, so that the pieces remix into a weekend/errand running capsule (less prints, more prints, different colors, etc)?
Part Two-Rehearsal Dinner Remix
Challenge-Now that you have your rehearsal dinner dress, it's time to make this piece earn it's place in your closet. Please remix the dress for work.
Bonus-Let's make this dress work overtime, and remix it for weekends.
Reflection-Do you typically re-purpose your special occasion dresses? If not, why not? If yes, for what use (work, weekends, vacation, all of the above?)
Part Three-Grey Cardigan Workhorse
Challenge-In one of your threads you mentioned struggling to style your grey cardigan, which you hoped would be a workhorse. I also noticed that you typically pair cardigans with skirts and dresses. Please style your cardigan into an outfit combination that pairs it with a color you have not done before, and it must include trousers or jeans.
Bonus-I notice your cardigans are typically worn as a topper (ie over another top), are you comfortable creating an outfit with the cardigan buttoned up, so it is the top all by itself?
Reflection-Do you still prefer a cardigan as a topper over skirts and dresses best?
Part Four-Signature Red
Your red sneakers, red loafers and red trousers are such happy pieces and look like a lovely signature color for you. Thinking of Angie's post about casual ensembles with sneakers, please remix your red sneakers into 3 casual looks.
Bonus-I notice your outfit posts have the red pieces paired with blue. Remix the red trousers with a neutral color that is not blue (black, white, brown, tan, beige, navy, etc). Now remix it with a color that is not a neutral.
Reflection-Do you still prefer red and blue paired together best?
Overall Reflection
After completing this challenge, did you find any new outfit combinations that you think you will wear?
