Here goes

Your outfit is to be 100 % neutral in colour, must include a dress and have a small boho element. Extra points if you can include an item from your recent trip to Portugal.

Wow - this *is* a challenge. Thank you Anne and not so angelic Angie
I just got back from Portugal with a few extra things in my suitcase - but do yellow and green count *grin*. Before I start, can I get some help? What are the colors you would define as neutral? Kristen - you are going to be tough! I'm looking forward to it once I'm done with this.

Hi Sihaya.

Hmm neutral - I guess black, white, grey, beige and by Angie definition, red.

But I'd like to see your new things too! How about giving us 2 outfits - one that fits in with the first part of the challenge and then another where you swap an item with one of your new purchases.

Sound doable? I am flexible!

OK, here it is finally. Thanks for your patience as this took me a while, maybe just in time for Anne to return from her vacation

I haven't posted the Portugal goodies. I promise I will do them separately. Instead, what I did is chose 3 neutral outfits - 2 with dresses and one with a skirt.

2. This is 100% neutral without even red (OK you'll have to overlook the watch)

3. My white vest again. Sadly, today I spilled sauce on it. It was my first time wearing this skirt which has been a closet orphan for 2 years so thanks for helping me get it out. We took the picture end of day so it's a bit wrinkly.

Thank you Anne and Angie for this challenge. I feel quite dumpy these days as a result of having gained 15 or so pounds in less than a year. It was great to try on more feminine clothing.

Oh, very nice!! I love the red bangles, the ties on the leggings are adorable, and you have a terrific collection of black-and-white dresses. So pretty!

I especially love the extra accessories of the little arms in the first shot. LOL!!

Oh, very very nice! I actually never think of such high-contrast black-and-white outfits as being 100% neutral - they are quite eye-catching!

The little arms around you in the first picture are adorable

I love the dress in the second outfit!

Hopefully, the vest can be cleaned - it is such a a great shape for you!

Thanks everyone. I bought a second dress at Express about 3 years ago. The first dress is from white house black market. And the skirt's from AT. As for dresses, you have now seen 50% of my dress collection. I have one more black and white dress (that I got at Portugal last year) and another that I will soon post.

Laura - thanks on the shoes. I love shoes but I have fussy feet. So it takes me a long time and much hunting to find the perfect shoes. Also, as a result they are usually quite pricey. So when I buy a new pair of shoes, I usually do the happy dance!

I am still on holidays but now have some internet access.
You did wonderfully, exceeding expectations with 3 outfits!! They were all good but my favourite was the second one.

I am really glad that the challenge was a positive experience - you definitely looked feminine!
