hi guys!

so interest has been expressed in some new YLF challenges to help spark some creative dressing. based on reactions, i'm posting two of the most popular suggestions today, and you can choose to participate in either, or both!

your first challenge is our version of the uniform project -- http://www.theuniformproject.com/. we all know the basic black dress comes in many incarnations, and most of us have some form of it. your challenge is to take that dress and come up with three different looks for it: 1. hanging out, 2. office style, and 3. date night.

- you can use any type of black dress, as long as it is plain and a solid color.
- if you do not have a black dress, i think it would be acceptable to use any dress that is a neutral (so navy, or brown, or tan...), as long as, again, it's plain and all a solid color.
- for those who don't have a basic neutral dress to play with, i'd suggest an alternative "classic" item -- maybe the classic white button down? while many of us seem to own it, not many of us seem to like using it!
- there is no limit to the number of other items of clothing/accessories you can add to create your three different looks.

the idea of this is to give us all a database of looks to help us recycle a tired wardrobe mainstay. start posting your looks on this thread whenever you like! i can't wait to see what you come up with :).

p.s. don't forget to check out challenge #2!
