YLF app use on iPad?

Does anyone use the YLF app on iPad? Does it work well and look ok? I'd like to try it instead of going through Safari all the time.

I use the YLF app on my iphone, so I'm guessing it's the same thing. The only thing I've noticed is that when you use the app, you can only access the posts of other people who have used the app to post. You can't access the entire forum, from what I've been able to determine. That being said, when you post using the app, you can access everyone's replies.

Now, I am somewhat technologically savvy, but not entirely, so maybe I'm doing something wrong in the way that I'm using it. Perhaps others have something to add!

ETA: I tend to use the app to post during the day and then I check the forum at night on my laptop.

That is my one complaint with the app -- I thought it would be a mobile friendly way to browse the forum. The restriction to other app posts bummed me out! But I still use I occasionally.

Yeah - I LOVE the app. when I am out and about shopping (thanks, Greg!)

But I am sad because I can't browse the whole forum that way....

Deborah uses the ipad all the time to take and upload her pics! It seems to work really well.

The only downside of that is if people want to add a pic to your thread they cannot.

Hmmm, maybe I will try it out to upload pics with my iPad easier. So if I have this right, I cannot access any posts not posted with the app? Or I can access all the posts once I have posted with the app? That's part is confusing me....

You can see posts you made and others make on the app. You can't see other posts (as far as I can tell).

I WISH I WISH I could upload photos from my iPad, since I use it way more than a regular computer.

personally, i prefer to just use the browser for ylf. but i also dont post many photos. if i did, i think the my app would be more useful. still a great tool for ylf!

Scarlet -- if you go in settings for Safari and then turn on JavaScript a d turn off the pop up block, you should be able to add a photo from your iPad!

Hmm....It works if I do that on my iPhone but not the iPad (but was working before) I shall investigate settings further!

Ha, I have noticed that with other people too -- my real name is Kate, so it's just a weird phonetic approximation I have used on the internet since the late 90s.

I can upload a photo from my iPad to the browser version on iPad as well, but it seems like a lot of time it will correctly select the right photo for the first pic, and then the same photo again and again.....I don't know why!

Thanks to this thread i just bought the iphone app, but I am already looking to a future version update, as it does seem limited compared to the online version of YLF.
