Yet another shoe advice needed!

For the last 2 weeks I suddenly realized that I am severely lacking in the shoe department...yet again (will it ever end?)
I am seriously considering to add metallic and animal print shoes to my collection.
Here are the candidates so far: please tell me what would you prefer. Also if anybody can advice me on the comfort and fit of these shoes I would appreciate it very much!

Oh, those Sofft shoes are pretty!

I have the Me Too Prissy flats and so does Marianna. Marianna finds the very comfy.

...well...I do have very fussy feet, but they dig like crazy into my ankle, even with a cushion, and look a little weird on my foot. I kept them regardless because I got them very cheap and they have a place in my wardrobe, but I don't know if I'd recommend them.

I also tried the Linda flats and they were comfy. Much comfier than the Prissies, IMO. Unfortunately they would not stay on my foot.

I vote Linda snake flats and Sofft pewter pumps.

Thanks, Maya. How does the sizing run on Linda and Prissy - are they true to size or run small?

The Lindas were TTS, but the Prissies ran a little small for me. I had to size up. But as I said, Marianna has them and she is a size 12 and finds them very comfy.

I like the Linda and the Luca animal prints - and the Luca and the Sofft metallics. Part of your decision could be based on if you want a shoe that is completely flat or with a little heel!

I think metallics and animal prints are the very best place to start...they are all cute !!!

I have the Lucca flats in pewter, and I really like them! But they're my first ballet flats so I don't have too much to compare them to. I have a very narrow heel, so non-elasticized ballet flats are just out for me, but the Lucca stay on my feet without digging into my heel. I found them true to size. I love the pewter color with the black bows and the tips -- they look almost like super-feminine oxfords to me, and they go with everything.

Sveta, I tried the Prissy last spring, and they didn't work for me. I can't remember what the exact problem was but they didn't feel comfortable on my foot. I tried a Me Too Nicki at the time that was much more comfortable. I recall I needed to size up in the Nicki but can't recall if I needed to for the Prissy as well.

I really like the looks of the Linda and Lucca in both the animal prints and metallic, and also really like the pewter Sofft Milano and Vaneli Fredi.

Sveta, the Prissys are the most comfortable shoes I own. I've worn them so much that there is a hole starting to form on the side -- I need to replace them ASAP. But I can walk in them for hours. They make my feet sweat a little more than most shoes (synthetic maybe?) but it's not a problem with hose. They feel like slippers on my feet.

Love the vanely leopard (zara has ones very similar)!
The soft milano are more classic but so pretty!!!!!!!!

I vote for the Me Too Lucca flat for pewter, I've seen those in the store and almost purchased them myself, I didn't because elastic backed shoes don't work for me. I also like the Linda or Prissy for the animal print version, I find Me Too shoes in general to be VERY comfy for ballet flats. The Softt and Vaneli styles, look slighty dressy and may be harder to wear with jeans compared to the Me Too choices.

Thanks for your help! I did a poll and this is the result so far:
For pewter: Lucca is the winner with Sofft in the 2nd place
For animal print: Linda Snake is the winner with Lucca and Prissy sharing the 2nd place.
Any more opinions - polls are still open!:-)

Oh, I should also mention: I needed to air out the Prissies for a while. I don't know what they were treated with but they smelled really skunky for about a week :\

The reason I chose the Soffts and Lindas was because that way you have one dressy option and one less dressy option.

Without reading others' comments, here is my two cents:

For the animal print ones, I vote for the Me Too Prissy or Linda. They both look modern and yet timeless to me. I like the idea of a leopard-print shoe, but neither one of these styles sings "Sveta" to me.

For the metallics, I vote for the Me Too Linda style. The others seem sort of fussy, IMHO, and not so congruent with your look.

Which ones do you like? That and comfort are the key :).

I forgot to mention, I've tried on the Linda styles and those were really uncomfortable for me. I like really soft and flexible shoes but the Linda is stiffer. The back is cut higher and cut/rubbed into my heel. It didn't work for me! LOL... so I guess you never know until you try!

I love the idea of animal print and petwer. I bought a pair of Tory Burch Reva flats in leopard several years ago and am thrilled that animal print is back, with a vengeance! Plus, it really does function as a neutral so I think you'll find you get loads of wear out of it--whether to bring "pop" to a simple color scheme or to complement a more flashy outfit.
Of the shoes you linked to, I'm not loving the Vaneli in either color--they look a little too conservative and dated, but that may just be a personal style thing.
I would advise ordering at least 2-3 of each color to give yourself options and then return whatever doesn't work. Zappos and Nordstrom make doing so very easy!

Sveta, I hope you're resigned to the fact that we will be footwear twins eventually, because we are both looking for the exact same things in shoes, i.e. black booties, a metallic winter option and an animal print ped.
Just thinking...have you ever shopped at Tallcrest? I only heard about it recently and am thinking of taking a look. Sounds like it may suit us both, and I know they have a location in London!

Michelle, this is the only place I shop for footwear here: I cannot stand the frustration to come into the store and see that all shoes end with size 10 or 12!!! I don't know what size you wear but they start from size 10. Oh, and if you find some place in Toronto which carries size 12 shoes please let me know!
