Yet another OTK boot question!

I know this forum has been peppered with OTK boot questions over recent times. I also know that I am meant to be concentrating on replacing worn out coloured flats, and upping my sandal collection ready for summer, but all this OTK talk has me drooling.

I've stumbled across this pairs of Fryes today that look interesting:

Has anyone seen/tried these one? They look pretty slouchy on the model, but I'd be interested to hear how they fit on "normal", non-model legs.

What makes this even more tempting is that shopbop has FREE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND RETURNS for orders over $100. Incredible!! When will other sites catch up with that!!?!

Tam, I think you'll find the ShopBop's free returns are US only.....it is free international shipping for orders over $100 (as is http://www.revolveclothing.com). The little asterik next to the FREE RETURNS thing says free returns in the USA within 15 days.

Boots cost around AUD$50 to ship back to the USA

Tam, i'm not sure of your calf size but at 16" I'd consider these a wide calf boot and I think I recall you having narrow calves. The disappointing EM boots fit me perfectly at 14".

I don't like how they fit the model. They look slouchy but unintentionally so, like they are just too wide to be sleek and are therefore riding down on her legs. OTK boots have to be sleek in my experience, otherwise they sag.

Megan you are absolutely right about the returns....trust me to not read the fine print. Still I think free shipping is pretty awesome compared to the $60 or thereabouts that Nordstrom charges!!

Maya yeah 16" would be too big on me for a knee high boot, haven't measured my thigh for OTK though. Maybe I should redirect my boot lust to the Boutique 9 Randall pair in the 2nd link. At least with laces the width can be adjusted as needed!!!
