I picked up this adorable red vintage jacket recently, and am wondering if I should keep it. (Background: I can't remember if I told you guys this, but after we moved and I started working from home, I started going to estate sales, and eventually opened an Etsy store for all my vintage clothing and accessory finds. It's not replacing a full-time job, but I am making a little money, actually! And it's amazingly fun.)

Anyway, a friend had a bunch of vintage stuff she needed to purge and asked me to sell it for her in my shop, but when I found this little jacket in the pile I had to keep it. It's cut to be boxy, but was a little large on me, so I had the sides taken in a bit without changing the boxiness of the cut. It has a really cute Peter Pan collar, and the buttons are purely decorative - it's not meant to close.

Here are a few attempted stylings - tell me if you think the jacket works. If not, no great loss - I paid my friend $8 for it and if it's a Nay, I can put it in the shop.

1: With dark wash skinnies and a new white tank with black lace overlay. I'd probably wear my black booties or black ballet flats.

2. Same skinnies, different top - graphic layering top in a silky, slightly stretchy material.

3. With my new bootcuts and the same graphic top. Again, I guess I'd wear my black booties with this.

I might bring back one of these layering tops, too - which one do you like better?

And finally, if this is a yes, any ideas on other ways to style it?
