I have been looking for a striped tee with a neckline other than bateau or crew and want something that looks polished but performs like my activewear layering tees. I rather this striped tee from Athleta, but a $60 tee needs to be a workhorse. Assuming the fit is good, I am thinking I could style it tucked into a pencil skirt (#2) or with trousers and a cardigan on a more relaxed day (#3).
Following a recent activewear upgrade I have discovered that I love some of the pieces so much (Lululemon vest and striped tee, GapFit tees for layering) that they have crept into my casual wardrobe. I worry that my eye is compromised as far as cute gear is concerned. Reality check, please! Is this obviously activewear, or could it work at work?
