Yay or Nay? Jeans/Capris Length

A quick Yay or Nay?
What do you think of this jeans length? I think they may be called Capris. I read capris are trending again but I think they are still quite fringe? Do they suit me?

They’re great Star! I would say these are classic and it doesn’t matter if they’re trending or not? I have worn that length on and off since 1990 I would call them Capris or the older term I used to use was “pedal pushers”!
Yes, they suit you.

They haven't gone anywhere yet, and appear to be one of those styles that remain in the background, if not front and center, of the style formation. Btw, they look great on you!

My answer is Yay, they suit you very well. They are on trend again, and I think the black ones are the best solution.

I love that length it really suits you. I often wear jeans that length especially in summer. I don’t really worry about what’s in or out I wear things I like.

Sorry to be a spoiler but it's a no from me. It's not about how they fit on you, I dislike this length on anybody. But you always should go with your gut.

I think they can work - but it’s not my favourite length lately. But I have worn this length with sandals and a tucked or shorter top. It is a very practical and classic length for summer jeans.

They look great on you. I think capris have gotten a bad name. Yes there are some awful ones but there are also some excellent ones - as with most styles.

Thanks Everyone for your input. I did hesitate when I thrifted these. I had put them back on the rack and then went back and grabbed them. I hesitated because it is not my preferred length. However I think this summer they are going to get worn as suggested by many of you with a summery top and sandals. The reason I went back for them is they are such a great fit and so well made. They are Escada Sport, made in Italy, and have leather binding on the leg hems and perfect outer stitching and buttons. I have been veering towards a more sporty look for the first time ever and I think these put me in that direction. For 2 Euros it seemed crazy to leave them behind!

I’m kinda with Irina on this length, personally. I prefer either a little longer for an above the ankle crop length, or a shorter pedal-pusher length, but that may be due to my personal proportions and leg shape. This length always feels a little neither-here-nor-there to me. But it doesn’t look bad on you! Just a preference, so if you feel good in them I say rock on.

I never thought I would embrace capri pants. Too much pedal pusher wearing when young. Now I am old and they are my “shorts” which I no longer wear. I collect capri pants for summer. White and denim are best as they go with many tops.

I meant that I no longer wear shorts… don’t own any now. No one wants to see an old lady in shorts. Capri pants or a skirt keep ankles cool.

I think you look great in these! And if you ever crave a shorter length, I’m guessing you could unbutton the bottom buttons if they’re functional, and roll them up. Or roll them under if the buttons are just decorative. Just for versatility in wear.

This length is coming up in retail, having popped up on runways about a year ago. My newer white jeans are this shorter length, and will be good for summer. Yours look fine and suit you!
