I don’t know if this considered OT. Nevertheless! I must share that my yarn for the knitted kimono jacket has arrived. My husband purchased the yarn for my birthday.
It’s two yarns held together.
Yarn 1: Soft Donegal Tweed. Irish wool tweed spun in a historic Irish yarn mill. Color is a deep, warm forest green with wine, orange, and cool purple flecks.
Yarn 2: Drops Kid Silk. Mohair and silk. Color is a neutral-warm green. The silk core has a bit of a gold tinge to it.
My hope is that the cardigan turns out beautifully and more importantly, that it fits beautifully. So we will see!
