Incidentally, I woke up this morning with Electric Light Orchestra in my head, so I put that on.
Then I went to get a haircut.
"I like the wolf cut," I told my hairdresser, "but I'm not sure I would get it right now."
"Maybe just a couple of layers," she said.
"Not sure," I said.
"I already put a couple in," she said.
I like it, though it looked better before I walked home and got sweaty. "Farah Fawcett bangs," said my hairdresser, and I have always wanted them. I tried to give the cut more oomph with a teasing comb, dry shampoo, etc. when I got home, but I definitely need to restore the drama of those bangs.
If anyone has advice on maintenance of a Debbie Harry/Farah Fawcett-type cut, I'm all ears. I will definitely go bigger, and prefer to look like a 70s rock star over a contemporary modification.
