X, 8, Pear shape?

I just finished reading one of the posts regarding an X shape and an 8 shape, I am an X shape right? LOL! I never knew of such an existence in an 8 shape, this is very new to me. Could there be a possibility that I'm a pear shape? My breasts aren't voluptuous but I do have a decent amount.

Ladies, help me!

How about... a perfect 10!
I definitely don't see pear. Some variation of hourglass.
Where are these posts? I'm thinking I'm an 8, but I'm not familiar with the concept.

An 8 shape has a high hip, with a relatively short "small bit" in the middle. I think, BB, that you are more of an X shape -- as in the letter "X", your torso and hip line angle inward smoothly toward your smallest point. But yes, I definitely see hourglass, not so much pear. Bust alone does not decide whether you're an hourglass -- it also depends on the width of your shoulders. A pear shape tends to have smallish shoulders and upper body, when compared to the lower half, whereas your bust and shoulders look balanced compared to your hips.

I always knew I had an "odd" shaped body from the rest of my peers! Eventually, I was told I was pear shaped due to the lack of my "sisters". lol.

I'm shaped similarly to you, a bit rounder, and I had trouble pinning this down as well. I got split votes on whether I was 8 or X or just plain hourglass. I decided to take the parts of dressing each type that applied to me (so a-line skirts aren't great on my slight hip shelf from my 8 tendencies, for example).
