WWYD? AllSaints Blaye Sweater Misbehaving

Remember when I scored this Angie pick Blaye sweater on sale? ...and remember how I never posted a WIW?

This is why... at first, I thought I was wearing a bra that was too textured and clung to the fabric. But every time I try it out, within a few minutes of moving about and getting ready for the day, it gets stuck over by bosom. I am down to my most slick, chest-flattening sport bra today, and still...

I have 28 days from October 31 to exchange it, but I technically removed the tags (AllSaints attaches the tags with a safety pin only). I don't even know what I'd get for the exchange, though, and I do really like the sweater when it lays properly.

WWYD? Exchange or just tug it down a lot throughout the day?

Yay = keep and tug
Nay = exchange for something fuss-free

That would drive me nuts. It's so fab though! I guess even with a cami, it would still do that?

Would a very slippery cami underneath help? I know you don't like poly, but do you have a silk one maybe? Even a lingerie type one just to see if it works?

Bummer! That would drive me. But I do think it's worth trying a silky cami before giving up... unless that would also bug you.

I think that is a static issue. Try a cami, and if not, then I would send it back if you can.

Weird. Could it be static? Could you try rubbing a dryer sheet across the *ahem* problem area and see if that would help? I tried this sweater on (in the same mix--the sale one, not the cashmere one) and didn't notice it doing that at all, even after a few minutes. I'd try the slippery cami too, but otherwise, back it goes. FWIW, I'm going to have a store credit for mine too. DH really didn't like it, so back it went.

That looks like static. You have carpet, right? Try some antistatic spray.
I would try a silk cami, if not I vote exchange.

Hm. Well, I don't own a silky cami or slip, but I tried it with a silky tee underneath, and it does reduce the problem but not solve it... the line of cling doesn't go all the way across, only halfway over each bazoom. If that makes sense.

Exchange for something that doesn't need continuous adjustment or babying or special items to make it work. There are so many fabulous things out there. This sweater is gorgeous, but it won't be the last gorgeous thing you'll ever find

Oh, I love the sweater, but that would drive me batty. I am with the others. If a cami doesn't fix it, I would exchange.

No, it's not static! *shudders* I would definitely get rid of it FAST if it were static. It's almost like my chest makes a perfect little shelf for it to sit on... I guess sizing up a couple sizes might have helped if I had known about that issue, but going based on looks I liked this size best 100%.

Send it back. It is going to drive you batty! : (

Maybe try the French method of stitching a couple of tiny weights in the front hem to encourage the knit to lay correctly? Chanel chains do this, and little sewing weights look like washers. It's a really fab sweater. Keep it or send it to me

I would exchange. It would drive me insane. Clothes that drive me insane have no place in my closet.

I bet it is just the cut and the higher neck. All my crewneck Ts do this to some extent.

I would exchange. If it is driving youbatty now, imagine it after 12 hours!

Oh, Ceit has a point. This is why I try to avoid crewnecks. Even though I don't have a very big chest, I do have the combination of a prominent sternum, short torso, and a short neck. Crew necks and similar shapes often have too much fabric vertically for me because of the short torso and neck, and then the sternum (or I would imagine a large chest would do something similar) prevents the extra fabric from falling down.

Even though it is super fab, I think life is too short to fight with one's clothes. I vote "return."

That has happened to me and I think it is the shelf issue. Just enough there for the fabric to rest on. Highly annoying and possibly solved with a slippery bra. But you said that didn't work. Did you see the awesome dark red cardigan version of the grey dress I got?

Exchange! And also I think All Saints has a really bad return policy. Only for store credit....really?!? I've decided that I will not shop there again.

I've gotten refunds in the past but with a short window of return time.
