My twin daughters recently turned 9 and we had their birthday party in an archaeology museum! (Ceit I hope you see this.) It was actually a workshop where all the kids got to blow a little glass bottle and grind up their own potion out of herbs. What kids wouldn't love that? (Or so we told DDs repeatedly when they looked at us dubiously.) Anyway, it was a great success!
1 and 2 - Me and DD1 and DS waiting for all 30 kids to have their turn.
3 - DD2 was first!
4- My three kids plus my sister's son (sister and nephew are here visiting this week).
5 - Talk about a ruin. This is what a table full of snacks looks like only moments after being attacked by 30 or so 9 year old girls. But you see they did leave the birthday cupcakes until the candles were lit!
