W&W pant length?

Hello Ladies,
I rarely post here but share the NAS excitement. I love angie’s finds and tried a few this year!
Here are the fabulous wit and wisdom plaid Ponte pants.
I tend to wear narrow legged pants but dipping into wider legged options. I am thinking these are too short, or maybe just don’t fit well.
I tried them with the Monroe stompy boots and with the PG soft loafers (which are AMAZING, keeping).
I am not confident in the footwear or length on these. Maybe an Oxford would look better? Or a heel which I don’t wear:)

Ah, pants length. I struggle with this a lot. I think that the current length is at that awkward in-between length - neither full length nor deliberately cropped. I personally prefer these wider pants to be as long as they can be without "breaking" (creasing). So, ideally, they would just barely touch the top of your shoe. Is there room to let the hem out? Alternatively, they should be deliberately cropped, so an inch or so above the ankle bone. Does that make sense? This style doesn't seem as amenable to cropping to my eye, however.

Actually, the pants are at a fashion forward length with the loafers - yes, those PG loafers are heavenly on the feet, and look KILLER on you!

As Sarah suggested, you don't need to like the fashion forward length! Go for what makes you feel your best. They can be a couple of inches shorter OR longer, especially with the boots. More what we are used to, and we can feel more attractive in those lengths.

Thank you so much for the feedback. I know my eye takes a while to adjust to new looks. I’m going to try styling them one more time and decide, but I think they are going back. They look smashing on my 19 yr old DD!
There really is not much hem to let out on these.

The pants look fab on you! I prefer wide pants to be a bit longer but it sounds like you're hitting the fashion forward trend with this length. I've been watching the shifting pants length trends with interest over the past several years and am never quite sure what's currently fashion forward!
