A friend and I are going to spend some time in Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA a few weeks from now. Neither of us have ever been there. Is anyone familiar with these two cities?

I'm watching the weather but it is too soon to tell, but unless there is a storm, it will be warm and humid.

Anyone know of good places to shop for clothes or jewelry? How about fabrics and small but original gifts? My friend is a quilter and has lots of friends to buy for. She always looks for holiday gifts when we travel.
