Thanks, Fabbers! You are all SO smart. I didn’t think about the bending and stirring and you are right--that it will probably drive me nuts. It just so happens that we have a birthday dinner to go to earlier in the week so I will flip flop the attire I had planned.
@Vipanchi, CF, Parsley, karmyk, and Laura: Thanks for the wise words. I was so excited about the poncho top that I forgot about practicality. I usually just wear a tee for the early prep and then change before the guests arrive but I still do a fair amount of work later in the day. Good call!
@Cathy, deb, rae, Shirley, El Cee, caro, Suz, Makrame and Alicat: Thanks for the poncho love. I’m already engineering how to knit my own. It looks really simple.
@Parsley: Thank you. My hair is kind of driving me nuts. I don’t like it on my neck. Not sure how long this length is going to last.
@shemarie: Thanks! I really hope these swingy shapes have some staying power. They are so easy to wear
@Angie: Thank you. I will wear this with black bottoms and sleek boots for the dinner
@Ceit: Thank you! You must get burnished slate boots. They go with everything--or at least I think they do. Workhorses, I tell you!
@Denise: It’s one of those One Size fits most deals. It should read One Size fits the average line backer
