Thanks all! Some dissent which is good - means both combo's work and it is nice to have a couple of footwear options for a distinctive dress like this.
I "hope" to get a few wears from this, I think with a coat and tall boots it will work in winter. Now I am an empty nester (aaaahhh not ready for this yet) I will have lots of time....
I think I will go with the nude shoes and metallic bag but there is a potential wildcard of borrowing some wedges from my sister. I wouldn't share shoes with many people! I haven't seen them but the right ones could be the best choice.....
