I'm at a conference so you get a picture of my shoe (thrifted, $10!). I just pitched a book to an agent and got a "sounds interesting, send me the proposal." woohoo!
The conference has been great for people-watching. In particular, I keep on seeing older women with pants that are saggy in the back. There must be something that happens in menopause to shrink the butt. I sense a market opportunity for a savvy brand. It's an easy adjustment in the pattern stage but you can't really do it after the pants are made.
Outfits here are all over the place - business wear to jeans and logo tshirts. Should I start a 'street' fashion blog featuring What Writers Wear?
