Does anyone know why skinny jeans wrinkle under the seat and back of thighs? I love all my skinny jeans but they all do this and I don’t think it looks very nice
Do the wrinkles go away when you sit down? I get this, too, but only when standing. I think it's how they are cut so that when you sit down, the back of the waist doesn't pull down as well.
Yes the wrinkles are only there when I stand! I thought about sizing down but I don’t think they would fit around the hips if I did. Thank you, I guess I’ll just have to deal with the wrinkles
I actually need more, not less, room in the thighs, but the wrinkling bugs me too. I have decided to live with it unless the wrinkles (or on my case, creases) actually grab at the flesh on my thighs. The only skinnies I currently own are Madewell high waist curvy fit which fit me really well in the legs and don’t do this.
Speaking for myself, if I size down, I won't be able to fasten the jeans. The wrinkles are from excess length, and occur even when the jeans are already stretching a lot in width. But I guess it's worth a shot for others.
Sometimes this happens with mine too, I always thought it was that they are a size too big but if I try to size down I can’t get them on! It must be the jeans with extra stretch and this happens or we don’t fit the exact body shape meant for the jeans; which isn’t a reason to not wear them they still look fab anyway.
