Can Nordstrom get any better?! It just did! They now have the "Zappos" policy of free shipping and free returns on ANY order. YAY Nordstrom!

I ordered last night--- I really hope I don't have to pay return shipping! And here I was all excited that someone from customer service agreed to waive shipping on an item I forgot to add to my original order.

Did you read the fine print, though? Strange that Coach is not included. . .and just what do they mean by 'selected merchandise' . . .:

OMG, yay! I always hem and haw about ordering from Nordie's because of the return issue - I can't easily get to the actual store (there isn't one that's public transportation accessible in Boston - WTF?) so I always have to send my returns back by mail, and the cost adds up.

Might be time to try out that Halogen pencil skirt...

I was wondering about some of the small print statements as well.
Makes things much more convenient for me, but from their end that means that I will no longer be coming back to the store to make returns and thus seeing more stuff that I want to buy.
I wonder how their prices will be adjusted to accommodate the free shipping both ways.....

QM, but now you can't dispose of the evidence since you'll need the boxes for return shipping.

I actually think this will be a money maker for Nordstrom and won't cause price increases. I believe people are more likely to buy when shipping and returns are easy and free because there is less risk.

QM, break the boxes down and stash them under the bed or behind some bulky piece of furniture. Better yet, in the closet housing cleaning supplies. Men never look there.

Wow - I just decided to try a pair of those Vince Camuto Edita's that Angie recommended and Kyle has. Nordstrom price matched Dillards $38.50 and still NO shipping charge!!
