Wow Coach has really upped their game

Glad to see they are getting back to good design instead of garish colours and tacky ornamentation. I'm in the market for a new bag and I'd definitely consider some of these.

I agree! Love those clutches in particular....I really have to get one this spring.
I haven't thought of Coach in years but bought one impulsively this November because I was just bowled over by its beauty -- and it definitely was along these lines: classic, rich, deep color; simple elegant lines. Have they changed designers or just seen the light?

I appreciate this head's up, Anna. It put Coach back on my radar. Like others, the busy styles, excessive hardware and relentless branding made me run the other way. These have some subtle elegance.

For a while I wouldn't even look at Coach, but I really like some of their new stuff.

I agree! There are some gorgeous styles in the new collection. When I was in my teens and 20's, coach had simple styles in beautiful leathers. I received a briefcase as a college graduation gift and I used it for years.

I would consider adding one of the new bags for spring.

Now those are some gorgeous bags. I haven't looked at Coach in a long time, I didn't care for their poppy collections and other styles with all the bling and designs and patterns. For a while the style was too busy looking for me.

Wow, such a good update to their line. I have what I consider a very hipster vintage coach bag, but all of their newer stuff has been too froufrou for me. Their new collection has bags I actually like. Thanks for pointing it out.

yes, i felt that the last few years they were kind of in limbo, but i noticed around Christmas that the new bags seemed to be moving in a more fashion foward direction. and it seemed like the quaility was a smidge better as well.

Love these designs. I'm a huge Coach fan especially now that they are moving away from their logo fabric and back to leather. If anyone from Coach is listening, I would appreciate more pebbled or saffiano leather on the everyday bags to minimize the appearance of scratches.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice this. I have been bag shopping and Coach keeps calling my name. I haven't bought a Coach bag in 10 years. I was going to ask the forum if it would be a terrible mistake to buy one again...

Shiny, I agree too. I recently bought a Coach wallet (because it was the smallest wallet I could find that had all the features I wanted, plus it was a lovely color) and ended up looking at a lot of the bags as well while I was hunting. I was surprised to see things that I actually wanted!

Coming back to the new collection, I am especially pleased to see my favorite bag shape (the hobo with slouchy top and structured bottom) is out in full force. I just bought another bag of this shape (a Longchamp) so I'm glad it's not dated.

Diana - we're on the same page. I'm also looking for similar. I do like the look of the satchels but in all practicality I tend to use my slouchy hobos the most, because they are more comfortable to carry on the shoulder instead of clutched in my hand.

I had been thinking white and/or black, but I'm drawn to that light birch color. Do you think that would be versatile?

Shiny, I think the model on that page has similar coloring to you and she looks great with all of the light colored ones, so I definitely think you could pull off the birch.
