For me, there's no contest. Exercise wins. Not very keen on shopping.

The specific scenario I am in right now though, means it's hard to do both. I don't work on Tuesdays and Thursday, and I'm training for a 10 km. On one day I do intervals (sometimes 6 miles worth) the other a long run (i.e., 10km). I do a local parkrun (5km) on Sat.

I don't like shopping on the weekend (crowds, hard to find parking, I'm often busy or doing things with the family) so these should be my days to do it.

But do my sore legs and feet feel like it? No! And I often need a nap afterwards as well.

I don't have much planned to buy this summer - 2 pairs of sandals (one for work and one for casual) and a tee. But given that my size sells out and that I have very fussy feet I do need to get going with it.
